Sheryl holds an LLB and BA in Political Science and International Relations from Victoria University of Wellington.
Sheryl joined Cullen - The Employment Law Firm in December 2009. Prior to practicing law Sheryl worked in employment relations policy at the Department of Labour.
Sheryl advises both employers and employees across various sectors on a wide range of employment matters including how to run disciplinary, restructuring and performance processes, drafting employment agreements and policy documents, dealing with personal grievances and employment disputes, negotiating settlements, liaising with unions and stakeholders and general advice about the legal rights and obligations of parties in all employment related matters.
Sheryl has represented clients in the Employment Relations Authority and the Court of Appeal. She has a pragmatic and straightforward approach to dealing with complex employment matters and enjoys assisting clients to achieve positive outcomes with minimum stress.
In her spare time Sheryl enjoys relaxing with her family and young children, boating and water sports, and travelling with friends.
