Raised in Whangarei, Calum moved to Hamilton where he gained an LLB with first class honours from Waikato University in 2014.
For his honours, Calum completed research in international indigenous rights and the law of armed conflict.
Calum was drawn to employment law due to the large human element involved in its practice. He enjoys having to consider both the legal issues as well as the personal issues in an employment problem, and working with clients to to achieve the best possible outcome.
In his spare time, Calum enjoys going to the beach, horse trekking and Sunday drives.
